Pianoforte..Northamptonshire 2015

This was the second visit of mine and rubex's day out.i decided to show her some traditional English industry.and what better than the old piano manufacturers.i think this place is often overlooked by explorers but I loved it here.the wide open warehouse with the greenery in it.and the beautiful workshop where they produced the piano wheels.we had a lovely relaxed wander around here..the site on the other side is now well under way with demolition.so we did not even bother with it.how long this side will stay I don't know.

It's amazing how little this place has changed since I first saw it in 2011, and how far under the radar it flies considering it's a big site and large parts have been empty since 1982. The piano wheel production area is one of the best examples of almost totally natural decay I have ever seen.

You captured this very well, really enjoyed it.

Nicely captured. I like the shot in picture 16, you have the door in the centre of the photo and the passageway narrowing towards the door. Great.
