My final explore of 2016 was originally intended to be a quick backup location on the way home but after a string of fails the two backups we had (the other being Fraser Range) became the main events. I have to say I didn't expect too much at all from here but I was very pleasantly surprised, sadly due to the failing light we only got round about two thirds of the place but I would love to go back as there is all sorts of other stuff hidden away in the undergrowth there that most people seem to gloss over.
It's been abandoned a long time, at least 30 years, but appears to be used as a motorcross/trials riding site on occasion.
