Well at least the weather forecast was wrong, it said it was going to be heavy rain today but as I got up it was sunshine, Excellent!!!

10 minutes later it was tonking down, bugger!!!!!

I couldn't find much history on this place but it started life as a bleach works around 1893, the lodges and ponds and some of the remains of things still remain on the hill behind the factory.
Later in life it became an exhaust factory, then things went a bit poo and then it shut and that,s about all I know folks.

If you ever visit here be sure to have military grade boots and a change of footwear as it's ankle deep in mud and I mean on the inside of the building.
Not the best of explores but It's reet on mi doorstep so it'd be rude not to.

Entry was a piece of cake even to incompetents like Fragglehunter, Porky pig and myself.

Then the mud started, it really can't be understated just how bad this is in places, much worse than the muddy footpath in the woods leading upto it.
The place has obviously flooded more than once from the moat that runs alongside it.
It's fair to say I didn't like this place much, Fraggs did but then he likes Pentax so...(just a joke Pentax militia, just a joke)

Anyhoo once I processed my pics I was quite surprised.

Doesn't look too bad, but then I do like ruined industrial places like this...

Cheers chaps, I like industrial stuff but there was not a lot in here apart from mud :)

I actually like the look of this place and somewhere I would go..really love that black and white shot with the reflections in the water

Cheers guys, to be honest if you are over this way I'd say go and have a look,it was a nice relaxed mooch with no secca or ninja stuff and if you avoid the burnt out offices, very safe floors and it's 10 mins from my house. Just take some boots
