    Default John summers shotton

    Just went on a reece.
the roads closed so it's a bit of a walk now.
Walked the perimeter today there's a 12ft fence all the way around a sign saying it's connected to the police as you'll see in one picture. There's a camera on every corner. And loudspeakers at regular intervals.
All the bottom windows are cover in steel sheet and all the rest (everyone) with ply wood.
I walked around for about 45 minutes even making the security on the other side of the bridge see me. But wasn't approached by anyone else.

So that's where our Spaniel wandered off to yesterday! Nice set of images, the old original bits of this place always did look that bit special.

No internals but worthy of a report purely on the basis of externals. Wonderful building.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
