Another sad old pub. Says Pub of the year 2003 on the wall & the discarded bills & tax return all go to 2005 so I guess that's when it all went wrong.

There is a big for sale sign on the land so I think the current owners have hit a brick wall with their plans of re-development. Re the haunted Hannington ha ha. I was in that cellar, (well as far as I could go without getting my feet wet) and there are loads & loads of cobwebs & floating detritus but not much else.
 
That pub can still be restored, I would say that its part of Northamptonshire's history. Could easy be turned into a gift shop with a small cafe. Just a thought.
