RAF Upwood/Hospital

I've been wanting to do RAF Upwood for a little while but hadn't got around to it. I arranged a day with Mikeymutt to do a few other explores and he offered to take me here, so I jumped at the chance to have a tour with Mr Mutt himself! Altogether it was a great day

Most of RAF Upwood is unused and was closed by the MoD in 1994. The American medical wing has been disused since 2013 and they are still looking for a buyer.

Compared to the other RAF Upwood posts from the guys on here my photos aren't that good, but I hope you enjoy them anyway!

It was a great day and a great way to finish the day off.a nice relaxing walk around here..was glad too finally see the hospital..glad you enjoyed it.i won't put my pics up as I have done two reports on this place already

I enjoyed your lens cap moment thanks to Mikey and yourself for sharing it, as krela said, we all do it the thing that winds me up is when I can't find remember where I put the darn thing when I've finished.

Re the Lens cap thing; An explorer, (who shall remain nameless for the minute!)on his first trip out with his new DSLR a few years ago was complaining to me that his new camera was broken and everything was black. I had to explain to him that the error code was 'user error'
