The bunkers & buildings at former raf kirmington , i was kindly shown by a local gentleman the exact location of all the former buildings & bunkers.

This is my 1st post here , I'm hoping to post many more videos.

Hi Kattcool,
Nice video, the buildings you have found, from the start, 50 man blast shelter,then what looks like the SAA store, then the three Stanton Shelters, there would of been a escape ladder at the end of each shelter, and a row of seats each side of the shelter.

Years since I've looked at the dispersed sites at Kirmington but I'd guess that is around sites 3 and 8. There used to be bits and pieces (mostly stantons, blast shelters and building bases as you have seen) left on most of the dispersed sites with the exception of the sick quarters site. The WAAF site has mostly been built over now.
No SAA store in the dispersed sites that I recall.

Hi Druid, I was going on the shape of the wall, for the SAA, as it is a dispersed site, as you say it is probably a blast wall.
