Default Mission To Mars, Germany - January 2016

I'm not sure about the history on these ones, so i'll just jump straight into the details of our visit..

So it seems we picked just about the coldest weekend possible to do a euro!*After a sleepless night of traveling, a couple of derps and a lot if driving we arrived here.. I'd been looking forward to seeing these for so long, but it was rather short lived to say the least. I'd heart the neighbour was on the ball, but damn this bloke is something else! He was on to me within about 30 seconds of my feet touching the floor after graciously vaulting his fence. After a stern bollocking, threats of the police being called and 2 dodgy pictures he sent us packing. After a quick bite to eat in the car I thought "fuck it, i didnt come all the way to Germany for 2 dodgy photos" so me and another guy went back - shot these handheld as we were weren't planning to hang around. As soon as i mentioned to Matt i was done Mr Grumpypants poked his head through the gate again, so we bolted the fence and ran like fack! :D

    Thanks for looking guys!

    Awesome! Not seen these before!
Sounds like fun getting the pics.
Reminds me when a neighbour chased me last year rolling up his sleeves and detailling exactly what he was planning to do to me, in French.

Excellent stuff, thanks for sharing :)

Ha it seems an encounter with an angry Frenchman is mandatory on euro trips nowadays.. the one i bumped into pulled a crossbow on me!

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
