In the past we have tried to cover all eventualities and this has lead to a rather strict and stuffy set of rules. We have now streamlined these so that the rules are really quite simple:

1) Respect fellow members and their opinions, keep personal differences and arguments private. There is no room for ego on this forum.

2) Please don't post photos that show other people unless you either have their permission or have blurred them out.

3) This is not an urbex tourist information site. Any type of 'where can I go/where should I go' posts will be removed. Do your own research and use the search functions, google etc.

4) Similarly posts asking for information on how to get into or do specific sites is not allowed, nor is asking if someone can be your guide. Go have a look for yourself!

5) Do not discuss any kind of criminally illegal activities on the forum.

6) Do not discuss any aspect of access in public, keep it to personal messages. If you are posting a report, it's obvious you got in somehow.

7) Anyone caught or suspected of committing criminally illegal acts in the course of their exploration will be banned, without discussion.

8) Spamming to promote other forums either in posts or via PM will result in a ban. As will spamming PMs to lots of different users on short periods of time.

9) Don't use exact dates anywhere on the forum.

10) The decision of the moderators is final.

Any threads or posts violating these rules will be deleted or moved into "The Pit".

Anyone who breaks the rules will be warned, people who persistently breaks the rules will be banned.

Although the administrators and moderators of Derelict Places will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Derelict Places, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.
