I visited here recently.

It has already been well covered on here but I thought that I would share some pictures anyway.

St.Edwards Home for Boys - and around the area

I live about a mile down the road, and never thought to look in until a few months ago, as it was a spontaneous visit. the camera quality isn't great as it was taken on my phone :(

Nice pics! im loving all the retro appliances! What are the blue engine hoist looking things in the assembly hall for though??? getting lazy boys out of there beds?

Visited again recently but previous access has now been sealed.

This also goes for the Convent, and old Nursing homes on the site.

There are a lot of fresh boards all over the place and some new fencing has been put up in some places.

I am led to believe it has been recently vandalised so I assume the owners have decided to make it more secure before it gets damaged beyond repair.

Nice work, it's good to see all the old stuff.

That makes a change!
