The 4th Plymouth Company was founded on 29th November 1902 in the area of St Judes, in Plymouth, Devon. The first Headquarters were over a Stable in Cromwell Road,

much speculation has taken place over this site as its due to be replaced with new build.

after a few reccies, the opportunity presented itself to take a look inside.....

the contents hint of a bygone era where kids were taught pride and respect, being helpful was the right thing to do....

will try and add a little history tomm! anyway a nice hour explore, quite a lot to see and another bit of history recorded before its gone....

visited with nemesis, enjoy.....

oops naughty boy ! methinks the lady is a trifle upset ! i might do it myself in the next few days wanna come along? ;)

Thanks....

kernowexpeditionary, should you have some thanks to give to v-w-chick? Seems a bit odd that you haven't already.

Has this company dispanded or just re-located, because it seems a shame that so many unique 4th Plymouth items to do with the BB have been left behind. I do hope it hasnt dispanded, it has the pride of being one of the earlier companys. Nive explore guys,

jack :)

cus he didnt say!!! thats why

Nice of him to ask you along..

Shame its being pulled down..looks like theres some nice original features in there..wonder if they will be removed before its bulldozed? Some good reclamation.

I remember when the BB band used to practise on sunday mornings and march around the streets of st judes holding up the traffic! They'll be happy now they are moving in with the GB!

I've deleted the pointless shit stirring posts, get a grip if you're not directly involved don't post.

It's always nice to thank ppl who tip you off, but ultimately no-one 'owns' an explore.
