After a 142-year lifespan, Sheffield General Cemetery came to a neglected finale. Gifted with few beautiful Greek Doric and Egyptian inspired buildings, the cemetery is the final resting place for over 87,000 people, which ironically has since become optimum conditions for plant and animal life to thrive. Gravestones are entwined with plants and snared with ivy, yet provide prime opportunities to take photos. Photographs taken allow us to capture past generations that bleed through into the present and carry them into the future with us. Sheffield General Cemetery is the perfect example of the past signifying itself into our future, especially with the restoration works.

By jove I do see a ladies top half in the photo as well. Your first three pictures have a dark, menacing sky which suits the theme.
