This house is in the grounds of the Houghton Grange estate.

It was interesting taking a look around the Grange again and spotting new boarding in a few places which wasn't there before.

I explored this one in the evening and decided it was time to go home when the bats started swooping by my head when I came outside to take the exterior shots!

There isn't much to say about this house, other than it backs onto a workshop/garage and some more labs. It was a modest house, with a small kitchen, two reception rooms, two reasonably sized bedrooms, and one box room. Interestingly since my last visit the weeds and a few bushes have been cut down in the surrounding areas.

A copy of News of the World from 1979:

The front door:

Which opened straight onto the stairs:

Back downstairs, and leading out from the kitchen was a small storage area:

I found this on the floor of the toilet and I can't work out what it is:

Thanks for looking,

Rubex

Nice one rubex..I never saw this bit when I went..well done on finding it

Look like it was a nice house in its day, though interesting choice of wallpapers in their. Nice pics.

That staircase carpet is awful. But good photos. I can't figure out what that mysterious item is. Piece of porcelain from a bath or sink maybe?

excellent report, looks like a flint fragment or a tooth ( fossilised perhaps) maybe
