Westhall Manor May 2012/ Aug 2015

Hi,

Been here in 2012 and very recently few weeks ago. However on this occasion I was unable to gain access.
Seems like it has been sold for £850'000 to someone and they have boarded everything up properly.

Last time I climbed two roofs and into a 2nd floor window to gain access to a bathroom. It had a worrying bow in the floor of it so I just jumped through it and into the hall way pretty much. Went downstairs and opened a door to let others in.

When I did the same a few weeks ago I got a bit of a shock as the whole floor was gone in the bathroom. So we had no other choice but to go home as every other access point was impossible or boarded up.

Pretty dire state to be honest.. i can only imagine what its like 3 years from when these photos were taken.

That is a lovely building, from your pics from an earlier explore it looks like the cerebral challenged had found the house so maybe it's as well it's boarded up tight.
