The House Of Rememberance,Jan 16

One cold rainy morning I was up early once again to try a few possibles that I had spotted on Google maps,,,these not being fruitful I got back in the car,,,and headed off back in another direction...then spotted this little cottage,,,and thought.."could be...."...and it was!...the house that ive always wanted to find,,the untouched,full of memories house that ive drempt of,,,,with my heart racing,and nerves rocketing I ventured through the cottage,,,not having to touch anything realy,,,its been simply left like this....I have named it The House Of Rememberance,after the picture of the Soldier hanging proudly in a bedroom...His military records,and death certificate etc packed neatly away in a drawer,,,I have done my research on him,and found a lot out...there are many more photos I took,but for reasons I wont be posting them on this report...they will be staying with me,,,,I can only assume the rest of the story to why the house has been left like it has.....the mother of the Soldier not being able to use the stairs was living soley downstairs for some time,,,id guess it was last a active home in the past 10 years or so....but its a time warp,,,and I loved every moment in there..

Brilliant find.. well done.
It reminds me of a 'find' years ago, an old rundown cottage in Essex. We went in through the missing back door.. spent about 40 mins looking around n snapping away then the toilet flushed n an old fella came out the toilet... we nearly died.. n I did do a little bit of wee lol. He was ok in the end.. no family no friends.. sad.
