    Default Keepsake house..

Visited this a little while back.big thanks to dauntless on the heads up on this one.and a great find.yjis a large house.with several bedrooms.i did not count them, but I think about six.there is a large back garden.well hidden in the trees its crammed with stuff.a bit too much in some rooms.my favourite bits were the vanity desk.still had the brush and beauty stuff sat on there.and the door with the coloured panelled glass.

I like to go where others fear to tread.

Nice find - very well presented, but it suddenly made me feel very old. I remember using the first telephone shown as a kid! :D

Superb stuff, nice to see the bits my camera couldn't quite get to again. This'll be one of my all time favourite houses.

I couldn't pick a favourite from this set Mikey but I'm happy that it was found by old school nosy buggers and not the magpies, Loved it, Thanks

I'm with Smiler on that one. Both of you put up great reports and very different takes and I hope this stays hush hush. I don't need to hope, I know you both will! Lovely stuff, cheers!

A nice big house. The Gramette Record player was made in 1955 whilst the Microgram Record Player was made in 1946. I like the carpeting all throughout the house, looks expensive. In fact, the stuff inside the house looks of good quality. They knew what they were buying.

Excellently captured. I wonder what's on that tape? It would be like a time capsule.

    Nicely Done!
Love the personal things left around. It almost looks like someone could stay there if they just cleaned it up a bit, beautiful place. Hopefully it gets repurposed and not left to decay.
Come follow me into the darkness.....let's see what awaits us down this darkened hallway, behind this closed door.....

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
