This was a bit of a ninja run to a place I spotted on the way past this morning en route and in a hurry but I managed to make a quick half hour to nip back and have a browse about.
I actually had another place on my list but I got sidetracked by another on the way to the second (!) but which ultimately turned out to be less interesting sadly, and I ran out of time.

Anyway.
I've not managed to find out anything else about it. A google around the area doesn't show much. It's fairly isolated although you have to pass another occupied house on the approach.

The outbuildings were by far the more interesting. They're just starting to go which (a bit like almost everything posted here) is a bit of a shame. It'd be a fantastic spot to live and sufficient out buildings to do some interesting things.

The main farmhouse itself is intact and would appear to have had some work start on it, i.e there are concrete floors in the ground floor however the ceilings are starting to collapse in the ground floor rooms but I think it's been quite a long time since there was any work judging by the normal access routes.

Pics are just from my old Nexus 5. Sorry about that. I've a new camera in the offing. Just have to work out what to get..

There are a few more if you follow the photobucket links back. In the interests of photo purists, all except the last image are as is. The last one is tweaked and cropped a wee bit.

Thanks for looking.

Nice shots there, not too bad for a Nexus 5. If it will help you I own a Canon EOS 450D DSLR, I just took it off the shelf, charged up the battery and started to take pictures - then I read the manual. But others will probably suggest something else. Good luck in your purchase.

I'm used to full manual film cameras from years back and still have my old Nikon but the convenience of digital now it's difficult to not go that route. Theres just a bewildering choice!
