A little old house literally in the middle of nowhere.

My second find in Kent, my friend told me about this old red car in the middle of nowhere, after finally finding it, I spotted this in the next field along.

This house has been abandoned for only a few months, so the decay hasn't properly started yet. No idea why because it's half refurbished. It's very small, a few features inside still remain, including a vacuum cleaner. There's no electricity or running water in the house which works. There are some nice outbuildings, musty old caravans and an old rope swing in the woods away from it. Although there's another house nearby which is lived in, it's a great little place away from the rest of civilization.

Thanks for looking.

There was a third location found but unfortunately we got caught by a passing dog walker before we went in it. Always next time...

I'm confused, are there no first floor windows? only on ground and second floors?

This was exactly what I thought, I looked everywhere for an upstairs, I tried a hutch on the ceiling and it was just a loft. The back way to the roof is inaccessible unfortunately. So yeah, it really was a weird house...

Its amazing what you find when out for a walk in the country. I find this house strange. The firs thing I noticed was a hanging tapestry in Arabic and English. No access to the attic although your outside shot does indicate there is steps leading up to one. The only thing I like about this house is the wood trim.

This is a converted Oast House originally built to dry hops before they were sent to the brewers. The ground floor would have held a charcoal fired furnace , the 1st floor was the drying floor and the 2nd floor would have had vents where the windows are to control air flow. There would have been store houses outside to keep the charcoal and a barn for the dried hops. Most are cylindrical but square or rectangular ones are easier to convert and look mire like conventional homes
