Love the headstock, I'm sure someone here will be able to identify it.

It's the headstock at Groverake mine.

Identifying it isn't enough.......I know everyone is strapped for cash but if you have a couple of quid spare then a good use of it would be to help prevent the removal of this rare historical structure. Time is short.

Nicely done, hopefully they will save the headstock and turn it into a monument to the industry.
 
If the community feels strongly enough about their proud heritage, they'll succeed, we've done it several times and there's a hell of a lot of goodwill for miners and mines out there, it'll be a struggle but that will make your success all the sweeter.
