Major Relaunch of www.industrialbritain.co.uk

Looking back its been almost 3 and a half years since Dave and myself launched Industrial Britain, unfortunately as a project it came to a bit of a halt with few updates and only a limited sample of the places we had visited were ever represented. Rather than give up we decided in the new year to get some of the major problems ironed out and to start to work our way through the backlog of content. So after several long evenings drinking and coding we're finally ready to relaunch the site.

We're refocusing site back onto photographs (no pun intended,) The History, Film and Documents sections that were proposed will now be spun off to form the British Industrial Archive (www.industrialarchive.co.uk) a seperate project that will be launched at a later date.

There are 8 Locations online and more will be added regularly Most of the old content has been removed or redone.
Presently the Locations Include:

[*]Tinsley Wire Industries

[*]Hunt Brothers Ironfounders

[*]Monckton Coke (in production)

[*]High Marnham Power Station

[*]Grimsby Ice Factory

Pages may load slowly on some slower connections, I'll be interested to hear feedback on this and any other problems or thoughts you might have.
