Inspired by mockingbird’s creeping foliage @ Mind Candy Manor, I thought I’d post this one
Built in 1884 as a female teacher training college by a local, wealthy Quaker philanthropist, that remained it’s primary function until the early 1980’s when it became a residential, international language school. It closed in 2007.
Visited alone (no talented other half in tow on this one, unusually) very early on a brass monkey January morning. I was greeted by Lee, ‘what the ******* ‘ell are you doin’ ‘ere at this ******* time?’, security chappie. We had a brief chat and he seemed satisfied that I wasn’t there to pinch his pipes (so to speak) and he shuffled off, back to his toasty office and well thumbed copy of Men Only.
Anyway on with the pics:-
Thanx for looking
