Hi,

Fancied experimenting with HDR and wondered if any of you lot could point me towards any free/shareware HDR software.

Thanks in advance

Hey Rizla, I started with photomatix but I have moved to something more subtle Topaz Adjust its not really HDR but can give similar results as well as many others. Photoshop does a job too...

A couple of months ago I bought a "Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen and Touch - Small" graphics tablet from Amazon,,,,,,, and it included Photoshop elements 8 for windows 7 ,,,,,£62 new and free postage!!

HDR?? I'm not really impressed but perhaps I'm crap at it,,,,,,,,,,,,it seems to be a lot of trouble to make a picture unrealistic,,,,,,,,,,,,I can do that without any editing,,,, without trying really :(

Have done a bit of HDR but I find Tone mapping works better as it keeps the picture as it should be but you can bring out the detail in the darker parts of a picture, the bridge in this post was done with tone mapping and it looks great on a 27 inch monitor.
