Hi All
First off let me just say - IT WAS WINDY
Me and Mr Fluffy only just poped in to try and find the location of the former Battle HQ (it`s gone) but there
was quite a few WW2 defence bits and bobs that it would of been rude not to do a few snaps.
Llandwrog open in 1941 and was closed down in 1945 but has since reopened as a small civil airfield, during WW2 it was a training airfield part of 25Gp there was almost 1300
personal based there during WW2.
Any who on with a few pictures.
First up is a tripple bay bombing trainer.
Then off for a walk across the fields to find this, ummmmmmmm nice, Alan Williums Turret.
Then back along the main road leading to the airfield we spotted this, it`s a "Seagull Trench" it`s bricked up but there is access but it`s full of s*** and I could not be arsed crawling
through the smalll opening.
From the Seagull trench we spotted this pill box, covered with local sea washed stone, inside its normal concrete.
Well thats it, thanks for looking there are a few more picture on my FlickR page so whizz oin over to

Any comments are most welcome.
