I took a look at this site whilst walking El Toro with my eldest son, the reason we didnt stay long was he discovered the snake! Turns out to be a non venomous Ladder snake, but he'd had his first jellyfish sting the day before, so was a bit wary of the local wildlife! The snake was nearly 1.5m long!

I normally end my posts with a picture of the local fungi, and although I did photograph the Boletes growing nearby, thought the shrew and snake more interesting this time!
