Found this website about Sheppey,it has a lot of info and photos of the defences set up for the defence of the Medway.You have to rummage about a bit but there's a wealth of info there.I posted a while ago about me dad taking me to Eastchurch roc so it was nice to find some photos and to see that it appears to be in extraordinairly good nick.

That's a very good website and some great military stuff...love the Radar Station.
Something I've come across a lot during research are the own village sites written by locals, and the amount of interesting info in them is amazing...not only useful for finding hidden gems but often very funny too. :mrgreen:
 
I used to live on the Isle of Sheppey, Sheerness to be precise.
Places of intrest: none
Plaes of interest to an Urbexer: a few. Sheerness docks and surrounding area, Warden point, can't think of anywhere else. Never paid much attention to the place.
