Location
Guildford ish.
Some places have masses of personal stuff laying around indicating true abandonment, sadly no family or friends to pick up the pieces when life changes. This seems different, there is plenty of correspondence laying on the doorsteps with the owners name. Some letters addressed to Ms M++++ the previous owner remain. The other letters addressed to the owner/occupant that lead to the conclusion the cottage had a new and caring owner but that owner lost interest shortly after flashing the cash.
Its not a mansion but if it were mine it would be treated differently. The modernish cooker was probably a recent addition but in my mind I could see Ms M toiling in the pantry trying to keep the standards set by her parents many years ago but slowly failing and then moving on to a different place.
Visited solo after a quick jog up the downs to visit a ROC post. Not worth a special journey but worth a quick u turn when spotted.

With no modern appliances this would do.

More modern cooking. The parcel on the floor was from Damart, ask your gran if you want to know more.

My impression that this is a house between owners and has it a lot more history to experience.

I visited once but it was sealed tightly and the smell of mould through the letterbox was horrific. Nice to finally see inside! :)

I like it, nice shots mate. I am yet to visit a rural house and i am looking forward to the day that i do :)
