Ok, so this is my first ever report so please enjoy guys!

Brief History:

The factory was once a large busy place of work which developed the flooring for the Northampton bus station as well as some of the flooring in the London Underground as well as the Tokyo Underground in Japan. Closing in the Year 2000.

Thoughts:
If you google the place name near enough every entry that appears links it to some Urbexing forum, so this place is no secret. Avoiding the security guard was nice and easy as he must have really enjoyed earning his dollar sitting in his portacabin all Sunday Afternoon :p

This place is really big, and lot bigger than you expect looking at the front, there is plenty to climb if you want to if that's you kind of thing. Oh and the smell of the place is something else thanks to the sewage works just next door

Nice, and a very good quality for a first report, I have a soft spot for this place, possibly one of the nicest industrial explores that Ive done.

Good photos, love the B&W, is the floor still like an ice skating rink?

Good stuff, it's a really enjoyable explore albeit pretty wrecked in places. Can't for the life of me work out why they have a guard there, it's really not worth it!

Fantastic images! Beats me why there was a security guard, its not like there is anything of value onsite. Well.......not from looking at the images anyway.

they used to do alot of stuff on scorpion tanks at one time of day could be a leagcy thing!

did work on an agency at weekend shifts some times in the late 1980s

sad to see another bit of northampton industry going down thw derelict route:cry:

The company doesn't even exist any more, so it is the new owners of the site (some holiday park kind of company called Lemonland) who are actively employing someone to guard it - why is anyone's guess as a) he ain't all that great because he managed to miss my friend standing on top of an exterior fire escape whilst doing his rounds and b) the place couldn't get any more wrecked.

Still, I really enjoyed my two visits to the site, the level of dereliction is right up my street.
