Hey there everyone 
Firstly heres a little music for while reading!:

I guess i should start off with a little about myself?
I have recently moved Closer to the Manchester area from Royston Vasey (yes its a fictional place but Glossop,Hadfield, and that general area do seem to fit the bill!) granted i have only moved into Stalybridge but have so far found out a few wonderful little local places such as the power substation , and what i think is called "Millbrook Sidings"? (the one with the little viaduct thingamajig) I have only very recently gotten into Photography and Urban exploration although am avid seeking to get more and more into it.
So far a few of the places i HAVE visited (all be it some not properly) are:
Hawks Head mill (Glossop)- was a very dreary day and had fencing everywhere so didnt want to go fence hopping BUT learnt a fair bit about the camera i was using which is always good!
Heyrod PowerSubstation/Millbrook sidings (Heyrod) - Been a couple of times , again more learning things about how to do photography and testing stuff out alongside its a really nice area to wander!
The kit i usually use when heading out for a wander is:
Pentax - X5 Bridge camera.
Cheapo tripod.
then whatever i can be bothered chucking in my bag such as snacks etc haha
Have just been bought an amazing DSLR by the missus which is a Nikon D3200 with double lense kit (think its the 18-55mm and the 55-200mm?) still learning a lot on it but not managed to go out for a proper day with it yet as kind of scared to damage it (guess i can always take nice pictures of cats on the garden fence or some clouds , or abuse the zoom lense to stare into the neighbours bedroom.)
Apart from Urban exploration and Photography im a pretty odd character always laughing and joking (yes even when someones just broken both their legs) im your pretty typical alternative style guy in his twenties , plenty of piercings , crazy hair styles all that malarky! very easy going and easy to speak to , i do act an absolute muppet most of the time but can PRETEND to be mature when needs be.
have had a little wander around the forums a few times before (how i found out about the heyrod places!) hopefully post some of my own images up soon (both unedited/HDR evilness...) so i hope some of you look forward to screaming at me for terrible camera exposure, lighting and all that.
Anyway sorry its gone on a bit of a rant i thought id try and put more effort into a introductory post incase there are any fellow Mancunians who fancy a chat some time or a joint wander to some lovely abandoned/derelict goodness!
