Hi,

I'm 19 years old and I'm somewhere between a professional and an amateur photographer. I live at the top of Loch Lomond and have been shooting since 2016. I tend to focus on Wildlife and Landscape photography, but am looking for a start in astrophotography. Does anyone have any suggestions for good foregrounds? Once restrictions allow I'm looking forward to travelling to visit more places so any suggestions welcome!

Thanks!!

Ayup, Ribblehead is always good

Welcome Eibbor. You're fortunate to live close to Loch Lomond. I think the East of Lomond near Rowardennan would be a good place to start. Close to Ben Lomond for landscapes and very little light pollution for astrophotography.

I live in B of Allan. You are living in the middle of good foregrounds and either in or very near low levels of light pollution. Good luck in your career.
