Always did start my explores on the roof or top floor - you get an idea of what the building is about as you go up and tend to see more if you are noticed/discovered. Nice set of images KP.

So make sure whilst you are still alive, that you have thrown out all the junk of a lifetime - that is of no interest to anybody else in the family and the rest is clearly mentioned and disposed of in a properly worded Will. As one gets older, you will realise that your younger relatives will not value your lifetimes collection of 'stuff' in the same way as you do. Let them chose items they really want and turn the rest into cash and treat yourself to one final lasting memory. A nice world...

The provisions of LB repairs notices are there to tackle the neglect (deliberate or otherwise) of LBs. I’ve frequently used them to good effect (and have also successfully prosecuted where buildings have “collapsed”).

It could be looked into, I mean I live pretty close to this location, its possible to look into local records as i don't think the care home would've tried to particularly hard to find the next of kin.

I know a bit about buildings & thought the same. Stairs are deff modern & it even has plastic down pipes! as u say it could of been cobbled together & most likely without planning as its in a small cluster of houses in a semi rural location!

What a strange building? Kinda looks old and a bit industrial but on closer inspection the whole thing looks as if it's made from recycled materials? Internal lintels hint at it. The stairs are modern and made of steel not cast iron like the older type were. Looks to have become a bit of a workshop and not a residence too? Finally fire put it all to rest! I laughed at the trumpet thing - what instrument is it? Such an odd find that! The actual site though, sorta reminds me of travelling...

Very nice set of images. Not surprising what a 100 years of battery technology has produced - lead acid cells housed in glass containers that cracked as soon as one moved them to recharge. No wonder the first battery powered vehicles were a disaster on the rough tracks that went for 'roads' back then, to the modern sealed for life alkali cell that is almost indestructible.

Cool place, ran the reg on the A2, it's only been out of MOT for a year! Shame to leave it really!
