Visited last year with Mykal and Sandman. Parked a while away due to being told that the neighbours round there were similar to those of St Marys aka nosey bastards.

Eventually found the access where I was confronted with a big security spider on the window sill with a little sign saying "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!". After making Mykal kill said security spider, in we went.

Well, our first thoughts were, oh my this is boring. Dark. Nothing really to photograph. Found the gym and woodwork rooms, still boring. The bar and upper loft room, boring. Courtyard was okay, but still kinda boring.

We *were* gonna leave in search of a more interesting site to spend the bulk of the day at but in the end we decided to keep nosing around for a bit longer and eventually we found the interesting bit, the main dorms with all the bits and pieces in. At last, something decent to photograph!

No they are not 'nosey bastards', just normal friendly people trying to get on with their lives. The bastards are the ignorant fuckers who profess to follow the principles of this hobby when 'caught' on this site, but actually force entry, further damage the place and generally cause a nuisance.

One of the 'nosey neighbours' and her husband actually worked at Eastmoor for most of their lives, bringing up two children and buying their staff house when the place closed down. Anybody seeing this resident and bothering to engage her in conversation, instead of skulking around, will learn much. The IFs referred to in my first paragraph have actually tried to 'explore' her residence, despite its very lived in appearance. These people have every right to be upset, when they are for ever being pestered by these individuals, who actually bring disrepute to this hobby.

Rubber duck - cheers!

Dirus - I'm not one for keyboard warrioring especially not when it comes to the endless debates on principles regarding UE. I didn't force entry, I didnt cause any damage, and I did not try and break into someones home.

Vendetta - thanks, and no not HDR, in fact I think this is the only thread I've put on here which doesnt have any HDR at all! Just a bit of lomo-style cross processing if I remember rightly. It was quite a colourful place so that look worked nicely.
