Default Denbigh Asylum - June 09

Big thanks (again) to Natevansate for very, very last minute directions and advice. Was on holiday and I managed to persuade my 2 sister in laws to join me and they proper sh!t themselves.... especially when we could hear someone else on site too. Very amusing.

Lots posted about the place on this site and elsewhere so I wont repeat. A huge and wonderful looking site unlike any other I have visited. Felt really grand on the outside and its such a shame the main hall was not there anymore. Admin block was a bit scary the higher you went. I would have loved to come here a few years ago.

No tripod used so these are the best of a wibbly wobbly bunch!

Some nice photo's there, though what would cause the flooring to curl up like it has done in photo 12? Is that just because it's been left to the elements?

Seen tiles curl up like this in a few places. Not sure if its the type of tile or just length of time really.

    Looks good though!

That chair in the fifth shot looks very familiar. There was one just like it in Cane Hill.
