This was my second visit and I gotta say I just love this place. The trouble is though it just gets more and more difficult to take pictures that haven't already been seen a million time before. Just for a change I left the fisheye and 10-20 at home so these where all taken with a sigma 17-50 and prime 20mm.

...and a couple I have shamelessly photoshoped to buggery...

Nice pictures, the photoshop ones are ok too, but I prefer a dark vignette

Went back for a "plug-in" visit as I just can't keep me paws off this place. Covered the north eastern wards and stores. Meant to visit the padded cell but glad we missed it now as it was totally knacked over at the time. Fisheye got a spanking too.

Could go on posting forever...

Probably because they're red on the side that most people walk in.

I just really want to know where that ancient video recorder is.

Those doors are in the clifton cranford - dartford denton block (see the site map in the West Park car park or online here and there). I think they're on the ground floor, with the padded cell upstairs.

VCR is in the patients social centre.

I notice you've put more pics up on this site than the report you did for that 'other' site. Hopefully means you like this site better

no one should explore alone, especially at West Park, the ground floors in most buildings are seriously dodgy, and no mobile reception, at least not on o2
