not the most exciting for getting right in there as I discovered most of it is hidden by ruddy great bushes/trees and having the kids with me i couldnt go any further than we did.
i found it a very creepy place, not helped by parking next to what i eventually discover is a live 'top security' bit [i gather by the extremely high fences]. but i found my way there without the use of satnav so big woo! [though it took me half hour to get out of horsham when i dropped the OH off]. im bloody knackered after the drive from horsham to there and then back to surrey.
we encountered a very strange man who just stood and watched us for ages and made me feel very uneasy, then found a pigeon with its head bitten off! no feathers strewn anywhere from a scuffle, no maggots, so it had to be a fresh kill. my 3 year old found it all amusing but it gave me the ruddy creeps. after seeing we werent really gonna see owt other than what i assume was admin [ill stand corrected though] and encountering odd banging noises, wails [probably from the live bit] and the creepy man again we headed home. i shall return minus the kids. its good to go and have a recceee afterall.
not many exciting pics but a few external shots.
my daughter had a whale of a time poking sticks in the many molehills [even though i kept saying no] and we encountered some wild rabbits and had a deer wander infront of the car. didnt have my camera out at that point.
rest of pics @ http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v89/AnthillMob/Hellingly 150809/ though not many
