First time visit to Denbigh

We set of on our 250 mile drive to Wales at about 9am. It took us nearly 5 hours to get there but was totally worth the wait.

I could not believe the size of the place when we got there. We were there for at least 5 hours looking round the place. We even got lost in the maze of corridors and stairways for quite sometime. By the time we had finished exploring it was pitch black outside.

Denbigh Hospital is an amazing place and it is such a shame it has been left to rot away.

Here is a few of the photo's we took while we were there.

Great external shots there...is this the one being converted now?

Not sure if it is yet or not. They did have to stop work because of the bats living there. Well thats what I heard anyway.

Would love to go again if anybody knows if its still standing?

Long way for me to go if it's a pile of rubble!

Had a look at your website, personally I don't think its such a great idea to put up access details of each location!

Spoils the fun a bit .... Plus you never quite know who your telling it to!!
