Talkurbex crew shot the entire site - enjoying an awesome mission and randomly meeting up with people on this site.

We bumped into Black Shuck and Brian in the location - sorry about the scare and glad you did not catch us with the axes and fancy dress props :)

The full 2 part walk through with larger pictures is available at www.talkurbex.com

Enjoy

Yea, occupational hazard when you are shooting with props  Axes, large knives, bats etc, its all harmless fun though

You nearly did, we were just coming down from the loft when we heard people moving, we followed you through the hallway then into that room! We set up in the room to the left for some more prop work :)

Looks a great place..another one I havent heard of.

It is good, the flooring is a touch bad upstairs - recommend it :)

Oh HA HA! Mimbly! he nearly gave me one! A Heart Attack that is!

It all adds to the atmosphere :)

Me and the Waggster were just doing some shooting in one of th Wards, I was next to a door looking down the Main Corrider. All of a sudden I get a blast from Sopohses Headtorch straight between the eyes! Anyway we had a good ol Yarn with him and his mate!

Your O.K my friend! I was seeing Boogey men for the next 10 mins! That one of yours makes my farty 9 L.E.D jobbie look like a Candle. Hopefully we can meet again soon?

I was just deciding whether to just ignore this thread, or whether to start the Anti-HDR comments...
Until I realised these are cracking photo's, and a really great report!
I think the props work great, and you must have had a blast in there. Also brings another Asylum to our attention which none of us seemd to know about.
Hat's off, nice one! :)

Hi,

Thanks mate - glad you enjoyed the report. Was a real awesome day, and 'bumping' into others was cool too :)

HDR usually gets blasted however is normally down the grain noise and halo's where dynamic range has not been covered correctly and tools like photomatix causing all sorts of issues.

Props are awesome, the talkurbex crew is in the middle of some brain storming the most freaky, scary props that can be found in prep for the next mission :)

Cool photos

klempner/urbanx - It's been reported recently here, but under it's newer name 'Hales Hospital'

Thanks mate...

Yes, the building history has 3 names, Heckingham Workhouse, The Heckingham Institute then Hales Hospital :)

Can you believe that we forgot to shoot the basement, gutted really as we found something pretty cool - we found a blood sample tucked into the power station in the basement - freaky or what?

We will go back and get the shot :)
