St. Johns Asylum, Lincoln - Oct/Nov/Dec 09

This a re-visit for me, having visited for the first time back in early August 2009.

Nice one on getting out there and doing it, but I personally think the photos are waaaaay overprocessed. St Johns makes for some good atmospheric shots without doing that.

I love the style of them. They're beautiful. What is the corridor ceiling made of?

I think the pic's look great, i agree that the photos don't need 'over processing', but they must have started off a good pics to be 'overprocessed'! I think they are really atmospheric and the blurred rubble shot is my fav, sums the place up wonderfully!

I'm not usually a fan of HDR, but these pics are fabulous. The one with the cat mural is superbly done.

Thanks for the comments guys, all crit taken on board - little less processing next time. I'll try get some natural shots up when I've got a some more time

I don't normally like HDR pics, but I like these for some reason lol. I love to see pics from St Johns, and love to see different peoples views on places.
