So we are part of a Herts team, and Chesham Hospital i found one of the most intresting places we have been, despite it not being an asylum.
Some of the buildings have been burnt to a crisp, not sure wether that was before or after its closure in 2004. Other buildings are very intact and still have posters on the walls and carpets on the floor.
Chesham Hospital closed in 2004 due to the increase in patients. The hospital only had beds for about 24 patients. Aylesbury and Watford hospitals now take the main patients.
The most intresting room in the Hospital is the X-Ray room, which still has the main machine inside. See pics below. More to come.
