So we are part of a Herts team, and Chesham Hospital i found one of the most intresting places we have been, despite it not being an asylum.

Some of the buildings have been burnt to a crisp, not sure wether that was before or after its closure in 2004. Other buildings are very intact and still have posters on the walls and carpets on the floor.

Chesham Hospital closed in 2004 due to the increase in patients. The hospital only had beds for about 24 patients. Aylesbury and Watford hospitals now take the main patients.

The most intresting room in the Hospital is the X-Ray room, which still has the main machine inside. See pics below. More to come.

nope, we are not vandals, totally disagree with it, if you look at the pics the group i believe is called hp6. We simply go to the place, take pics, record a video and thats it! Vandalism is not good! And against the law, we took pics of the 2010 as we were only just into the new year, so we knew people had been there, we could even smell the paint in that main hall. Its strange to see such vandalism in a small village.

Youve just edited your post though? now instead of the 2010 team it just says Herts team?? What are you hiding???

to whoever feels the pointless need of questionning us and our team...

I'd like to input, that I am infact part of this team, we do this because we are interested in these derelict buildings,
Is that not fairly obvious by the fact me and shadowforest have signed up to this website?
Judging by your comments, I don't quite understand why you are part of this website, if your time involves slating those that actually visit these buildings in interest.
How is it fair to accuse myself and the rest of the team for graffiti, or vandalising the place,
For one, if we were pathetic little vandals, do you think we'd post our artwork on the web? I expect a lot more from my life than to be arrested for vandalisation.
This page is for people who appreciate it, the ones that sign up to this site for a REASON,
We did NOT invite you to view this page, so you may want to keep your comments to yourself
We know what we do and why we do it, and we don't need nor are affected by you questioning us.
So go find something better to do with your time, instead of throwing around pathetic accusations, that of which have nothing to do with you!
Thanks :)

Actually the opposite is true, by posting things here you have made them to do with us and invited comment good or bad, and for the record people have posted their own vandalistic handywork on here before, so it's not too rude an assumption. Now we know it's not true, although you have to admit the way it was dealt with does look a little dubious.

Throwing your toys out of the pram is not the best way to introduce yourself to a community.
