St Clements Hospital is located in Mile End, East London. It was originally built in 1848 as a workhouse. It became an infirmary for the Ciry of London Union in 1874, and a psychiatric unit in 1936. In 1968, it became part of the London Hospital, and closed in 2005. I believe the hospital was a medium security unit. The site has many internal security fences, and gratings over many of the windows.

I'm sorry, that is my error. We tried another site that day too, and I have muddled the two up. This is called St Clements, and is in E1.
