This is my first post on here and i hope you like it . There is not much i can write about the place that has not already been covered . It was an amazing day exploring and full of excitement lol . Anyone thinking of going should be cautious as the floors are really dangerous in places now , and as we stood in the kitchen looking towards a door a great big pile of roof and bricks came crashing down . It was a real eye opener to how dangerous some places can be .

One last thing ..... Hey up to the group of lads from Manchester that me and my misses met as we were leaving , hope you had a great explore and got in ok

and now the photos .........

Dont know if its one you have seen? this one has old footage from when it was open.as well as up todate video?? but a good watch anyway,..

Awesome shots, great use of PS. The only birds I ever see are bloody pigeons!

a great big pile of roof and bricks came crashing down . It was a real eye opener to how dangerous some places can be .

We was inside when we heard this rumbling noise. The place is rotten. I brushed a doorway with my backpack and half of it fell down.
Spiders and dust. Yuck!

Sorry Rusty but (in my opinion) the pictures are revolting. This is an Urban Exploration forum, and subtle editing is to be expected but these are too far removed from the original image. It is a shame because your composition is good, and Whittingham is very photogenic. Can you show us some originals?

Its a real mess now and the floors are lethal . All adds to the fun tho :D

Thats fine everyone has there own opinions on photography . Whittingham has been shut now for years and has had so many people explore it , there probably is not one place in there that hasn't had a photo took of it . I am into photography in a artistic and creative way and don't take standard photos . I used to but have moved on from that and try for something a bit different now .

Good for you, aren't you the big I am. But this is a forum for exploring and documenting, not an arts forum.

There is an HDR thread for showing off your photoshop skills in the photography forum.

Wow these are amazing! They look like the crayol pictures patients drew of the place we found in the childrens block!

I explored ,and my photos document that , its just personal taste . My photos are clear , some photos or here are to dark and out of focus, is that documenting ? still i never feel the need to criticize them .

Your guys should spend more time exploring instead of moaning on here lol

Some shitty HDRed pics of a shitty hospital in preston.

and whats with the girls?? I wouldnt mind but there not even that good looking, and detract from the decay that surrounds them. this isnt urbex, its showing off.

GET A GRIP FFS!!

B..

That's a very misinformed statement, I would suggest checking these members threads and realise they do explore, with the exception of Krela who devotes a LOT of time to the website.
