Lincoln County Hospital Feb 2010

Visited Lincoln County Hospital with diehardlove and burb147! The history can found in the usual places! Lincoln County Hospital has been expanded over the years and some areas have been long forgotten as the hospital has expanded around it. We were also lucky enough to find the iron lung!

The staircase!


We found a room full of all sorts of patient letters and documents. Some dating back to the 70s!

quick off the mark with that mr ill try and catch up this evening.

heres a few of mine although my camera issues today means i failed on most attempts so not great shots for you. was a good day fabulous place to wander round and for me so much to see it was all about the staircase today and the lung for diehardlove. unfortunately i didnt get one good pic of the stairs.

Thats really good mate, Ive wanted to do this place for a while now!! Good pics, well done.

It does look like it's got a face.

We did have a thread on seeing faces while urbexing.

Some cracking shots here,but I love that wacky stairwell pic very much.

I must say I am liking how the staircase shot came out. I was trying to get some funny angles on it and its worked quite well. Looks like one of those optical illusions

all my staircase pics cameout blurry or badly composed bloody camrea i wish i knew what i was doing so when it played up i could work it lol.

I shot that staircase one on auto!! Plus I had the shakes from my previous night of drinking

thats because her lens in foocked in auto,
dont worry claire il show you how to do manual

keep the camera in auto,stick the lens focus in manual and adjust till its sharp and you are sorted the lens is a unhappy lens sometimes.

i know this but in manual if im looking up or down my lens drops in or out so i cant focus clearly its gay and im sure it is not supposed to do that. lol. gurantee may have to be used.

haha you will be a sheep and follow the flock,hold the lens as you do it mine did it for 12 months till i had the cash to replace it listen woman
tell you what il swap you cameras next time cant be fairer than that
