literally a 'driveby'. never got out of my car to take these shots. has an hour to spare today and had the car so off i went with the kids. recce for a spring [arf] visit proper. ive been in this place as a visitor but never realised just how massive the place is. the 'abandoned' part it very small on comparison.

so have some external shots, taken from the confides of my car. i love the main building.

lol.

the golf club isnt even fenced off and patients walk the lawns of the grounds. i locked the doors before we drove in there.

couldnt find the max-secure unit. not where i last saw it [on a prev personal visit -only from the outside] but then given the killings that have occured from escapees i doubt its ever been max secure.

im not a fan of PC but this random loons walk the lawns of the ground come on its a live mental home what do you expect why dont you do an tour im sure they do em may be a good way of getting in

eh? ive experienced the 'residents' shall we say of springfield up close and personal so pardon my non-pc way of talking. ill go one further than the tour, maybe even dom the tour, but today was a quickm ride round in the motor to get what is always/mostly missed and thats the exterior.

i do more exteriors than interiors. thats the way it happens for me.

Good to see the pics, but cut the 'random loons' attitude. Regardless of your experience, keep that sort of dismissive talk off the forum please.
