St thomas hospital was originally a victorian workhouse built in 1842 and designed by Henry bowman to house 690 inmates there was a workhouse here before st Thomas's but was destroyed in a riot. The site is now owned by stockport collage who are renovating the site, the hospital was closed down in 2004 and has been slow to be completed.Despite the the site been renovated there is still plenty to see including the morgue which can occupy 12 bodies' there is tight security on site and the police train dogs on site. Lost my original photos from this visit these are a few i found on my girlfriends hard drive last night cheers for looking...oldskool
