Visited this afternoon, the site was very busy with workmen but as the ends of admin block had been hacked off leaving it wide open it seemed rude not to have a mooch.

Most of the main hospital is gone now (including the main hall :( )
The admin block has been stripped, ready for conversion to housing I guess?

I suppose demolition is complete and what's left is to be converted?

Excellant report..brought back many memories for me from 3 years back when we saw a guy walk past us,only to see him later minus his trews!Still some interesting stuff to see even now.Cheers for your effort.

This is a Proposal of what the hospital is going to look like when the conversion is complete. :)

Always makes me smile to see artists impressions..they always paint an almost utopian view on an idilic life..just look at the pic of admin..open top sports car..lush weather, people sat out on the grass..ah what a vision! In reality, its totally so different.

Cool pics, interesting to see whats left. Gutted we never went here when we first explored cane hill. That air raid siren needs saving, they were usually mainly there for air raids or fire alarm, though a few places I know did have an escape alarm/siren.
