Ok so this has been done before, but I wanted to return with Team MO2W Ala Explorer and the Explorer Kid. The Institute was originally built as a Workhouse for the poor with parts dating back to the late 18th century. It comprises two very large square shaped wings with a small Courtyard within the middle section. Almost two seperate Buildings linked together by a central Spine. The Heckingham Institue as it was then known changed its name to Hales Hospital and finally closed its doors in around 1998. The building is one of my personal favourites and its a real shame seeing the place getting so ripped apart, yet it still retains a very dignified presence in a very Rural Location. Thanks for looking.:)

I see what you mean, despite all the wanton vandalism it is still a very dignified place. Thanks for sharing.

By they way, is that a Bird in the old Boiler tube?!

Yeah it was a Jack Daw! Go knows how it got there, it certainly took us all by suprise, it was a great day all over.:)

'Bird in a boiler tube', sounds like a novel, or perhaps a porn film:mrgreen:

Really like your photos, shame it is so trashed mate, buta suprising amount of machinery left over.

This looks very interesting. 'Specially the bird  Nicely done :)

Nice to see other forums leaving their unintrusive, respectable and responsable advertisements around...

Very good TK!! That made me chortle mate!! I think I may even have seen the late, great Hitchcock in there as well!!

In a way I wish Id taken a few more Exteriors as it would have given more of an idea of the shape and Layout of the place, never mind though.:)
