Visited with Dangerous Dave, Total404 & his mate Jake
We visited here before going onto Penallta Colliery, thinking that we were in for a nice quiet time.
How wrong we were, there were people everywhere, (and not just voices inside my head!!), with some builders starting to erect security fencing around the perimeter, other people randomly wandering around the buildings which still have tiles on the roof, (not explorers!), and as we got to the chapel, a copper, who was waiting for us!
Didn’t manage to get to do the chapel or Admin, as we were asked to leave, but the main hospital threw up some great images.
The top floors are decaying at a much faster rate than the ground floor, due to the lack of roof tiles, but, I think that they make for some fascinating photo’s:
I've tried to find a few 'new' shots that may not have been seen before, (apart from everyones favourite piano!!)
Outside;
Some internals;
This is a great site, with so much atmosphere and character.
Thanks for looking.....
