Red face Harold Wood Hospital April'10

    .. Hello ..
So this is my first ever derelict places report
    I'm all nervous haha :p
Went to Harold Wood for the first time ever this month and didn't get a huge amount of photos worthy of posting as was getting a feel for the place and working out where I was most of the time .. We didn't get to the mortuary which is usually everyones main aim but we were more focused on the operating theatres.
Opened in 1909 and closed in 2006, huge site well worth an explore ..
Here are a few of my photos from the day (no photos of the bruises I got falling out of a tree though lol), definately going back soon to get some more photos and maybe find that mortuary everyone goes on about ....... ;)

Thanks for having a look, any feedback welcome .. oh and sorry if some pics are a bit wobbly but in my excitement I forgot my tripod!

I was quite surprised at how intact it is really, I mean theres always going to be some damamge but the lights and everything are still up and in one piece which is a nice surprise! :)

sweet man. i grew up round that area and have seen a fair few reports on the place. it makes me want to go down there and check it out myself. its strange cause i spent some time there when i was a kid too.

You should definately check it out and if you've been there at least you might know your way around I did my typical thing of getting confused and disorientated haha!
