I had a very interesting visit to St Crispins today. First off after about half an hour on site I bumped into two Northampton Police Officers, they were up there as they had a report that there had been some kids up there smashing the place up.
I told them that I was only taking pictures and as I had my camera and tripod out at the time they could see that was pretty obvious.
They said that I was on private property but they were not going to stop me taking pictures and that there was nobody else around who would tell me to leave either, they did say that if I saw any kids up there could I give them a bell, no problem I said and left them to it.
I had about another hour or so mooching about and then made my way out.

When I got back to my car and old boke approached me and asked if I had been taking pictures. It turned out that he used to work there as a nurse and had been meaning to go back for a look around, he only lived 5 minutes away and had not been back since it closed. I had a good chat with him about the place and he even nipped back to his house and got these pictures.

They were taken from the top of a water tower which was situated by the boiler house which is all now demolished.

I lay them on the bonnet of the car and took pictures of them so the quality is not the best.

Here they are, with many thanks to Tony.
