Arrow Melton & District War Memorial Hospital, June 2010

I took a drive over here this morning for a look around before it got too trashed by the local kids.
Originally a house, opened as a hospital in 1920, further extensions to the building were made over the years. I am not sure when it closed down.
There isn't too much to see really and the majority of the place is in darkness due to the boarding.
I had about two hours on site and bumped into two other forum members, Gangeox and Neosea, it was nice to meet you guys.

I didn't take too many pictures but here a few from what I did take.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
